Panettiere: 'People expect me to party'

Hayden Panettiere has reportedly admitted that there is an "expectation" that she will become the "next party girl".

According to Just Jared, the 20-year-old Heroes actress told the latest issue of Self that she was aware of the typical image associated with young celebrities.

"There's an expectation for me to be the next Messed-Up Party Girl. But I just focus on living my life, being myself and doing what I love," she is quoted as saying.
Panettiere also spoke about recently joining a protest against whale and dolphin killing, saying: "I left knowing I'm not going to let those dolphins die in vain. Their deaths will help show the world the big picture."

Alexander Skarsgard and Hayden Panettiere Among 2010 Saturn Awards Nominees

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films has unveiled its selection of nominees for the 36th Annual Saturn Awards. On Thursday, February 18, the Academy revealed that Alexander Skarsgard and Hayden Panettiere were among those receiving nominations in the television. Both were nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Actress respectively.
Skarsgard landed the nom for his role in "True Blood". He is up against "Lost" actors, Jeremy Davies and Michael Emerson, "Leverage" thesp Aldis Hodge, and "Breaking Bad" actor Aaron Paul. Meanwhile, "Heroes" beauty Panettiere will be competing against the likes of Julie Benz and Jennifer Carpenter.

Welling, Panettiere Pick Up Pilots

It looks like Clark Kent himself, Tom Welling, and Heroes' Hayden Panettiere are movin' on up in the world; each is signed on to produce dramatic pilots for the CW.

Welling, who is co-executive producing the current season of Smallville, will exec produce Hellcats, about competitive college cheerleading. He's teaming up with Kevin Murphy (Caprica, Valentine, Desperate Housewives), who wrote the pilot and is executive producing as well. The show is described as Bring It On meets Election.
Panettiere, who is new to behind-the-scenes work, is jumping on HMS with writer Amy Holden Jones (Mystic Pizza, Indecent Proposal). That show is apparently about – get excited – a "sexy freshman class" at Harvard Medical School with the story being told from the perspective of one of the young ladies in said sexy class.

Hayden Panettiere Says "Save the Whales"

How does she stay in shape? The Heroes actress lifts weights twice a week and runs 30 minutes or longer at least three days a week. But she doesn't do it to look and feel good. She does stay fit in order to stay strong and build endurance for diving. Yep, Hayden loves to free dive in the ocean (without scuba gear) and she told Self,

"I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life after a dive. Swimming works all your muscles — your core, glutes, quads, even the ones you didn't know you had, like the little ones in your feet and hands!"

Hayden Panettiere Ditches Blond for Red

Hayden Panettiere has ditched her trademark blond locks in favor of a fiery red. The 20-year-old actress debuted her new copper hair, which photos can be seen via Just Jared, at Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida on Wednesday, January 20 to catch a flight back to Los Angeles.

The "I Love You, Beth Cooper" actress has been in Miami on a holiday with rumored professional boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko since late December 2009. At the airport, Panettiere was seen being dropped off by the boxing champ. The rumored couple then bid farewell to each other before the actress departed back to Hollywood.
Before being romantically linked with Wladimir Klitschko, Hayden Panettiere dated several actors. They include "Laguna Beach" actor Stephen Colletti and fellow "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia. Panettiere dated Golletti in 2006 and split in September 2007, while with Ventimiglia, the romance between the two began in December 2007 and ended in February 2009.

Hayden Panettiere to Establish Herself as Credible Musician

During an interview with the mag, the Claire Bennet of "Heroes" stated, "I'd like to focus on music." She further elaborated on the reason why, "I've been singing for almost as long as I've been acting and I love it. It's just a different way of expressing myself and getting to be me, not having to play anyone else."
The 20-year-old further unearthed that she's been working on her album "for about three years". On why the long process of the making of the album, she pointed out on her hectic schedule of shooting movie and TV projects. "It's all about finding the time, though, which is crazy," she said, adding, "And it's hard to get people to accept me as a singer because they see me as an actor."

Hayden Panettiere 'Still Working On Debut Album'

Hayden Panettiere has resumed her pop plans and has started working on her debut album again.

After releasing the single 'Wake Up Call' in 2008, things went quiet for the 'I Love You, Beth Cooper' beauty in terms of her music, but it looks like she is still pressing ahead.

"I'd like to focus on music." Hayden explained. "I've been singing for almost as long as I've been acting and I love it. It's just a different way of expressing myself and getting to be me, not having to play anyone else."
Panettiere added to Now: "I've been working on my album for about three years. It's all about finding the time, though, which is crazy. And it's hard to get people to accept me as a singer because they see me as an actor."
