Nokia has revealed that its Ovi store is delivering an average of 1m app downloads a day.

As part of the promotion for the latest Rihanna album, Nokia partnered last year with Mercury Records to launch a Rihanna app that was bundled with music, images, a biography and tour information. The Rihanna app also linked through to Nokia Music Store so users could download exclusive content.
