Katy Perry has a crush on Cheryl Cole

Popstar Katy Perry may have decided to tie the knot and settle down, but she still likes kissing girls and now has a crush on British beauty Cheryl Cole.

The I Kissed A Girl singer who is engaged to comedian Rusell Brand, says she has a crush on her fellow X-Factor judge.

"I wish Cheryl Cole tweeted, she was a sweeeeetie pateeetie today (girl crush alert)," tweeted the 25-year-old. Before the auditions, Perry has said that she was looking forward to meeting the Girls Aloud singer for the first time as she loved her dimples, reported Sun online.

Perry is standing in for pregnant judge Dannii Minogue, and appeared to be the first guest judge not to get booed after Geri Halliwell and Natalie Imbruglia faced taunts.But Perry who got engaged to Brand over New Year's in India, isn't the first US star to have her eye on the ex-wife of footballer Ashley Cole.

Fergie from the 'Black Eyed Peas' had earlier said that she also has a soft spot for Cole, saying she's "hot enough to turn anyone".
