From soaps to feature films

Hayden Leslie Panettiere is a former model and acted in commercials, and now currently a film actress and singer. She became well known at the age of eleven with her portrayal of Sheryl Yoast in Disney's Remember the Titans.

Although half of her life immediately before Disney, Panettiere had held roles in two soap operas - One Life to Live and Guiding Light.

Panettiere had postponed higher education in favor of an acting career.
She has appeared in over a dozen full-length feature films, several made-for-TV movies and provided the voice for Dot in A Bug's Life
Panettiere also appeared in the drama film Fireflies and in early 2007 Panettiere appeared on the syndicated Ashton Kutcher-produced show, Punk'd.

Her most recent film projects for 2010 have been Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil, Alpha and Omega, and Carmel. ~ She attended the 2009 Teen Choice Awards hosted by the Jonas Brothers.
