The singer showed off her dyed her short cropped dark hair with fierce yellow streaks at the same time as stepping out in her brand new boots in New York last night.
She wore a sassy little dress and sexy Stella McCartney thigh-skimming perforated boots to Philippe Chow restaurant, before heading to Avenue Night Club.
And even though it was dark, she arrived at the club wearing a pair of shades.
The Stella McCartney boots, which cost £715, are a must-have item for fashionistas this season but have already sold out and have a long waiting list, even though they only suit the very long-legged.
The legging-look boots, which are made from faux leather, have dominated fashion weeks in both London and New York and there have been similar styles on the Prada and Chloe catwalks.
Celebrities such as Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, Lady GaGa and U.S. reality star Kim Kardashian are already fans of the trend.
Rihanna, 21, is preparing to release her new album and has recruited Justin Timberlake and Chase & Status to produce the record.
JT, who is rumoured to be spending a lot of time with the Umbrella singer, said at the Emmys: 'In my opinion, she’s got the world in the palm of her hand right now, based on her success with her last record.
'The stuff we’ve come up with in the studio, it’s the next step for her. It’s a little more grown up. It’s got some edge to it.'
