Katy Perry's 'Firework' Clocks Second Week at No. 1 on Hot 100

The spinning wheel atop the Billboard Hot 100 comes to a halt for the first time in almost two months, as "Firework" by Katy Perry spends a second consecutive week at No. 1. The track also leads Digital Songs for a third straight week with 201,000 downloads (down 5%), according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The last song to spend successive frames at the top of the Hot 100 was "Like a G6," by Far*East Movement featuring Cataracs & Dev, on the charts dated Oct. 30 and Nov. 6. Since then, there have been five new No. 1s to lead the list, with "Like a G6" making a return engagement for a third and final week in between those new arrivals.One of the above-mentioned interim No. 1s, "What's My Name?" by Rihanna featuring Drake, is also angling for a reprise at the top, as it climbs 3-2 as the chart's Airplay Gainer.

"What's My Name?" improves by 16% to reach 120.4 million listener impressions, according to Nielsen BDS, while motoring 4-2 on Radio Songs. The song at the head of the radio list is Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)," with 130 million impressions. That track holds at No. 6 on the Hot 100.

Rihanna becomes the first artist to hold down the top two slots on Radio Songs since T.I. doubled up for five weeks in November and December 2008, with "Live Your Life" and "Whatever You Like," both of which took turns at No. 1. Mariah Carey was the last female to do so, when "We Belong Together" and "Shake It Off" led the ranking for three weeks in September 2005. The former track was No. 1 for the first frame, and the latter took the lead for the next two weeks.

Back to the Hot 100 top 10, Bruno Mars continues his chart assault with "Grenade," which ascends 5-3. His former No. 1, "Just the Way You Are" holds at No. 7. P!nk's "Raise Your Glass" drops 2-4, while Ke$ha's "We R Who We R" returns to the top five (8-5). "The Time (Dirty Bit)" by The Black Eyed Peas drops 4-8, Nelly's "Just a Dream" remains steady at No. 9, and "Bottoms Up" by Trey Songz featuring Nicki Minaj holds at No. 10.

T.I. takes the Hot Shot Debut at No. 18 with "That's All She Wrote," a cut off of his top five debuting album, "No Mercy." The rap royalty pairing with Eminem shifts 109,000 downloads and opens at No. 8 on Digital Songs.

Diddy-Dirty Money's "Coming Home," featuring Skylar Grey, is the Hot 100's Digital Gainer, vaulting 51-24. The title sells 65,000 (up 92%) and rises 44-17 on Digital Songs. The act performed the track on the Dec. 4 airing of "Saturday Night Live."

The "Glee" Cast places two titles from its holiday album on the list with "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (No. 57) and "Welcome Christmas" (No. 59) while Adele posts her second charting single with "Rolling in the Deep" at No. 68. She was previously on the list with "Chasing Pavements," which reached No. 16, in 2008.
