Having just made her way out to the east coast, Jessica Alba multi-tasked as she chatted on her cellphone and smoked a cigarette after doing some shopping in the SoHo district of New York City on Monday (August 16).Not wanting to send the wrong message, the "Into the Blue" babe quickly tried to hide her smoke as soon as she spotted the paparazzi - as she's recently been smoking more and more with insiders blaming the pressures of Hollywood as the cause.

Also making sure to keep her fit and healthy appearance, Jess spent the weekend working up a sweat during the First Annual Rising Stars of America All-Star Kickball Game in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday.
